Component
Reading the parameter that tells one placement of a component apart from another.
One node, and it exists for the whole point of component blueprints: a component is authored once and placed many times, so the graph on the definition needs a way to ask which placement it is running for.
Get Component Param
blueprint.component.getParam · Pure
The value the placement gave for one of the component's declared parameters, or the parameter's default when the placement gives none. For a Text parameter that the placement reads from a translation key, the value is the key's name; Translation Key Text gives its words. A text or a button inside the component can show a Text parameter without a blueprint; see Components.
Available only on a component's own blueprint (componentWidgetMain) — outside a component there is no placement to ask about.

Twelve save slots are one component with a slot parameter placed twelve times, not twelve copies of the same element tree: the definition's graph reads slot here and writes to, or loads from, the slot the placement named. A graph inside a function called from the component sees the same placement, so a helper Fn can read parameters too.
